concerning several media topics and their coverage. One topic, for instance, has the media been and are they accurate
in reporting important and sometimes controversial topics or do they become part of the story by distorting the truth. One
site, in particular, Donny writes his viewpoints at is Associate Content
which takes in his editorial outlooks on The Media and Race –The article,
“Are We There Yet” which includes different
points on the Media and racial inequality in the environment of our new leadership. It attempts to answer does
electing our first African American President mean racial progress has made some strides. In addition, in light of this
historical moment, and assumed opportunity, will the media help racial equality, and if so, how? Do we think
in light of this historical moment and opportunity will the media lessen their stereotypical coverage? On the other
hand, are there other variables to consider? Equally important is will this reflection be seen outside in society since
the inverse relationship of Media and racial equality is reflected that way. One question unanswered is will President
Obama’s legacy open up doors for other minorities, i.e. women, in more leadership roles in both the private and public
sector. Other articles by Donny C Davied: “Media and Race:
Covert and Overt Messages about Racial Inequality - Associated Content” Argues the differences
between Overt and covert Media influence concerning racial equality progress. It examines which Media tactics are worse
when discussing this highly contentious and sensitive topic. To read

The Media becomes more persuasive and bias as they merge with tabloid news. They could help racial inequality; rather,
they hinder racial divide progress. Media's falsehood will only continue until we use critical thinking and analyze
our media data. By Donny C Davied | Published 5/1/2009 | Read more » 8: Media
